First post but not the last

If you like to talk about stocks and options,  then you came to the right place.

We start with the basics and it is a very good place to start. We must know the basics in order to stay on the right track to financial freedom. So let’s get going shall we?

In the stock market there is always two parties to every transaction - a buyer and a seller. You can make money when the stock is going up or down. You have to decide what stock or stocks you want to start trading.

I wouldn’t recommend trading penny stocks because they are highly speculative. However, other people have made lots of money trading them… they must be a lot smarter than me! Here are two guys who seem to be doing better then me… check them out at this link,  if you want to trade penny stocks. I would pick one stock at first and learn all you can learn about it.  Somthing like Walmart with the ticker symbol WMT for example.  Then go to www.yahoo.com find and click the finance tab and start reading about them.

There are two types of analysis fundamental and technical. The next post will deal with these two, along with terminology.

Thanks for reading.
